Comments– Without a doubt the best vampire movie I have seen (mind you, I haven’t seen THAT many).  This was original, action-packed, well acted, and just fun to watch.  The premise here is that in 2009 a bat started an outbreak that turned the world into vampires.  Not everyone was changed, and humans became enemies of the state, and were hunted and harvested for their blood (the vampire’s food source, obviously).  Ten years later, in 2019, the food supply is running dangerously low, and the high-ups are trying to make a blood substitute for the vampires to survive.  What follows is an awesome story, and one that breathes new life into the world of vampires for me.  I haven’t seen Blade in a very long time, and don’t remember it at all, so we will be watching that soon to see if it is better than Daybreakers.  Honestly, I imagine it won’t be.  Great.
