Comments– I find incredible, for some reason, to think that this movie is now 50 years old.  Even more incredible, perhaps, is the fact that I hadn’t watched it until about two hours ago.  I appreciate the movie for what it is, but I will admit that I wish it moved just a bit faster.  Bridgette seemed bored throughout the whole film.  I asked her how she thought the infamous shower scene was, and she really disliked it.  She said it “looked fake”, which I then tried to explain to her that in the 1960’s, it was a very popular scene, and remains one of the most memorable scenes in horror cinema history.  That didn’t matter: she wasn’t a fan.  I love Hitchcock’s filming techniques in general.  The man was able to get some extremely effective angles.  For example, the second murder in the film which you get to see from a bird’s eye view is stellar and creepy.  Though the movie was obviously not made recently, and dragged a bit, I can still appreciate and respect the excellent work by Anthony Perkins and Alfred Hitchcock in this absolute classic.  We want to see the sequels next.  Good-Memorable.
