Comments– Fresh off the heels of watching 28 Days Later, we popped in it’s sequel – 28 Weeks Later – and, in my opinion at least, is an even better movie than the original.  For those people that found the first movie a bit on the boring side, this one is for you.  Filled with action and scares right from the get-go, this one has a good story, more characters that I genuinely cared about, and plenty of gore to go around.  Taking place 28 weeks after the initial infection (obviously), the US Army (of course) has come in to rebuild London.  Doing so one district at a time, they build small communities that are “safe zones” from the other, unsafe sections of the city.  Something happens and the “safe zone” is shot to hell.  We follow the story of one family, a US Army doctor, and a US Army Soldier as they try to fight for survival against the infected.  This one is a definite watch, and even if you haven’t seen the first (or have no interest in the first movie), I highly suggest this one because you don’t necessarily need to have seen the first movie to fully appreciate the sequel.  Great-good.
